Spades Continuum Universe Chapter 1

The backup story that took a life of its own...

The second story I wrote for Continuum Universe (CTM) was Spades. Relic & Ego presented the fantasy to our readers and my wife Jennifer was handling sci-fi with The Hunters. What would a new comic book world be without the supers? That’s where Spades came in.

In this first 12-page story, featured in issue one, we are introduced to a team with a very singular mission. These characters will definitely be appearing in Continuum Universe The New Age. From the moment she hit the page, Crimson Mane became one of my favorite CTM stars.

Thank you again for your continued paid membership. It has allowed me to begin pencils, inks, and letters on a new chapter for all these characters that will be coming very soon.
