Three months into 2025, and I have not got a lot to show for it. 2024 was ending, my productivity was high, and I was excited to get going in the new year. That lasted for six days. Then Jenn and I drove to Sac International Airport and picked up two pug puppies. P-Chan and Shampoo have eliminated my creative time! :)
I am not one who makes excuses. I look at my successes and failures, and go into the next week, month, quarter, whatever, intent on doing better. But I SWEAR to you, those two little freaking creatures require so much from me! One is a ball of energy, and the other has special needs that have to be addressed.
All that being said, let’s see how I did on my Quarter 1 Goals…
“Rolly Polly & Captain Dylan Vol. 3 will be lettered and printed!” It was! You can get your copy at Empire’s Comics Vault, Amazon, or ContinuumPress.com. I was fortunate enough to work with the talented Davey Turner again, and he brought his A-game to this project.
“Remnants will be fully written.” This was a bit ambitious. I have begun writing the second half of this graphic novel, but I am far from having the finished book.
“Though I am stepping back from Continuum Universe The New Age since I am so far ahead on the writing, I would like to have the rest of the story roughed out so I am ready to hit the ground running in quarter 2.” It’s vaguely roughed out in my mind…Okay! I didn’t do this one at all. Aldin Viray has continued to plug away on the art, and he is knocking every page out of the park
Now it is time for Quarter 2 Goals, and I am going to keep this one simple, knowing my current limitations.
I will have Remnants fully written. I am going to make this my only focus. I want it done!
