It’s been great pulling out these old covers. Each one takes me back to when I was working on the issue and reminds me how much each of these artists means to me and Trixie Dynamite. There have been six issues and a special so far, but there is definitely more in the works for our rambunctious star.
Richard Curtze has been working with me since day one of my publishing career. That was long before Trixie when Continuum Universe first began. I never got the pleasure of working with him on this title, but he gave me an awesome cover.
Another fantastic Mach Yeager pin-up and an homage to a classic comic cover.
In this issue Trixie traveled into other Sacramento small press comics. Each of the interior pages were drawn by their original artists as she bounced around. It was a lot of fun to write and also a blast supporting other creators at the same time.
The original cover is done by Mauro Reifschneider, but it was Nooligan who altered it to give us this variant showcasing our heroine.
Heroic Girls , a local non-profit, was brought to the book in the form of two intrepid detectives modeled after the daughters of the organizations founder. I was very happy to get Melissa Pagluica to do the cover as I had always wanted to work with her.
Yet another Mach Yeager! This man is all over the pulp style and he really brings the heart of Trixie to the page.
