Vornix Chapter 1 - Pt 1

"Jammers have cleared the bow."

I was reviewing my current projects, and it got me thinking about the ones that never saw the light of day. So, I did a little digging and came across a story I had forgotten about. The year is 2176, and with the help of alien castaways, the human race takes its first steps into the galactic community. We do so with a fleet of warships intent on the destruction of a tyrannical race called the Vornix. With our self-preservation and the hope of saving those already conquered as our mission, we quickly learn that things are never that black and white.
